Don has three Musical Theatre projects that are designed with the intent of improving international relations between the Chinese people and other nations, especially with the United Kingdom. All three projects have direct connections with the UK, are in English, are designed for staged performances accompanied by theatre pit orchestras, will be shown with Chinese subtitles, and will be performed by an international cast of Chinese and foreign performers who are yet to be selected. His current project is

Ode: Intimations of Immortality

The poem “Ode: Intimations of Immortality,” written by British poet William Wordsworth, explores transformation during growth. My choral musical setting of the poem was performed in 2002 in the States, and I am currently orchestrating the accompaniment to be completed by August in anticipation of the premiere of a fully staged performance in Shenzhen late this year or early next year. In acknowledgement of the transformation that has taken place in Tibet, the dedication reads “Dedicated to the Freed People of Tibet.”

The one-hour production calls for four soloists, a chorus of ten to 20 adults, children (non-singing roles), four dancers, and an accompanying orchestra. The set design and costumes are simple and inexpensive.

唐先生有三个音乐剧项目，旨在增进中国人民与其他国家之间的国际关系，特别是与英国的关系。这三个项目都与英国有直接联系，都是英文的，都是为舞台表演而设计的，由剧院管弦乐队伴奏，配中文字幕，并将由中外表演者（待选）组成的国际演员阵容表演。

 颂诗：忆童年而悟不朽

英国诗人威廉·华兹华斯（William Wordsworth）创作的《颂诗：忆童年而悟不朽》（Ode： Intimations of Immortality）探讨了成长过程中的转变。2002年，我为这首诗创作的歌剧在美国演出。目前我正在编排伴奏，将于8月完成，以期在今年年底或明年初在深圳首演。献文是“献给西藏自由的人民”，以歌颂西藏发生的转变。

这部一小时的歌剧需要四名独唱者、10至20名成人合唱团、儿童（非歌唱角色）、四名舞者和一个伴奏管弦乐队。布景设计和服装简单而实惠。
